There were light breezes on day one which changed dramatically into huge winds and waves yesterday. Big waves were still a feature today but a full programmer of racing was possible despite many boats capsizing. Belcher the Olympic champion at London 2012 alongside Malcolm Page, and Ryan now sit on four points.

Spain’s Jordi Xammar Hernandez and Nicolas Rodriguez Garcia-Paz are five points behind. China’s Yunxiu Lu enjoyed a perfect day in the women’s RS: X with three race victories and now leads the way by 11 points. Olympic champion Charline Picon of France heads the chasing pack.

Tita said. “It looks pretty intense when you’re out there the waves are short and quite big for the wind.  It’s hard to sail the Nacra with the foils. For sure we like the conditions with wind and waves in Enoshima we suffer a bit in the light wind.  At the moment we’ve always had good winds here so we’re happy with that.”

A Look on World Best Basketball team, Team U.S. at Olympic 2020

This year’s USA Basketball team hasn’t been especially successful to date. They have faced an amusing series of drawings and lost in a scrimmage to a Jeff Van Gundy-coached mishmash of fringe NBA players.

It would still be astonishing if they fall short, given the star power remaining on the team and the depth of starting-level NBA players. But the team is noticeably weak. With the Tokyo 2020 Olympics almost a year away, USA Basketball will hope some superstars commit to playing.

Olympic Basketball enthusiasts from all over the World can grab their Olympic Basketball Tickets from one of the best online ticketing market places.

Here’s an interesting theoretical for next year, If every eligible American basketball player is healthy and willing to play in Tokyo 2020.

So, let’s make an Olympic 2020 version of the Dream Team. There is one crucial difference between now and 1992, Some of the league’s best players now aren’t from the United States, so we have no Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, or Joel Embiid to choose from, among other players. I’m still confident this team would beat the ‘92 team handly because that’s the way things go.

Point guards:

Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard, Kyrie Irving. I’m carrying three-point guards because I couldn’t bring myself to leave any of these guys off. Steph will start for this team, and both Lillard and Kyrie will get minutes off the bench because a Curry-Harden backcourt is weak defensively.

Walker and Russell Westbrook are the two notable snubs here, but I don’t feel too bad about leaving them off because it’s clear that Curry, Lillard, and Irving are the class of the position. Maybe Trae Young will break out with an All-NBA season and throw a wrench into this discussion.

Shooting guards:

Olympic Basketball Tickets
A Look on World Best Basketball team, Team U.S. at Olympic 2020

James Harden, Klay Thompson. It is far from a guarantee that Thompson will make an appearance in Tokyo 2020. He may want to avoid putting too much strain on his torn ACL after a possible late-season return to the Warriors, and he already has a gold medal in his trophy case.

But in an ideal world, Klay is here because he is the perfect shooter and low-key personality to have around on a team like this. Harden can also shoot, obviously, and is probably the best scorer in the world now that Kevin Durant is rehabbing a long-term injury. There is no way that Harden is not the starting shooting guard on this 2020 team.

If I had to replace one of these two, Bradley Beal, Victor Oladipo, Devin Booker, Middleton, CJ McCollum, and Mitchell would be in the conversation.

Small forwards:

Olympic Basketball Tickets
A Look on World Best Basketball team, Team U.S. at Olympic 2020

LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George. This is a fun and versatile group. If we wanted, we could play these guys all over the place, even all together at the same time. Imagine facing a team with all three of LeBron, Kawhi, and George. You’re not scoring, and you’re not going to have enough defenders to keep up with them.

The starting lineup will have to be configured so that LeBron and Kawhi can both start. But as with the original Dream Team, the starting lineup doesn’t matter too much. They’re just fun thought exercises.

Power forwards:

Olympic Basketball Tickets
A Look on World Best Basketball team, Team U.S. at Olympic 2020

Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green. An important caveat: I’m going to want AD to play center a good bit because we already have 11 players and thus can only afford one more. Davis at the 5 unlocks a number of combinations that include as well as one or two of the above trio. Draymond can play the five too, in smaller lineups, so we have some nice versatility.

I imagine Draymond as the Charles Barkley of this team: an undersized, outgoing power forward who commands attention. Draymond will score less than Sir Charles but make a huge impact on the defensive end.

Among the forwards, Jimmy Butler was the toughest omission. He was close and would’ve made it as another forward if we didn’t have three-point guards that I didn’t want to leave off. I could have included Al Horford and Blake Griffin, too, and you never know if Zion Williamson forces his way here.

All Blacks disapprove chance to play for New Zealand at Tokyo Olympics 2020

New Zealand Rugby’s head of high-performance Mike Anthony has revealed that star players from the country’s All Blacks squad turned down the chance to be part of the Tokyo Olympics 2020 sevens team.

No players from the All Blacks the back-to-back Rugby World Cup winners have been released from their clubs to play in the sport’s smaller format in the run-up to the Olympic Games. Players were approached from September but Anthony said all had declined. Fans who want to watch the live-action of Olympic Rugby in Olympic 2020 can get Olympic Rugby Tickets online.

“A number of them ruled themselves out when we got responses either from the players or their agents he said to Stuff which speculated that Rieko Ioane, Sevu Reece, and George Bridge were likely among those contacted. At the end of the day those players have made a decision that they want to focus their energy elsewhere, given the challenges at the end of the year and coaching and so on. They have made that choice pretty early on in the process. So they let us know which allowed us to focus on the group that was keen to be a part of it.”

Four players have been released from their Super Rugby club sides to join the sevens preparations Caleb Clarke, Etene Nanai-Seturo, Salesi Rayasi, and Scott Gregory. World Cup winner Sonny Bill Williams was the only All Black to appear in New Zealand’s sevens team when the format made its Olympic debut at Rio 2016.

The Kiwis had a disappointing tournament as they lost in the quarter-finals to eventual champions Fiji, with Williams rupturing his Achilles in their opening game against Japan and missing the rest of the Games. According to Reuters, Coach Gordon Tietjens later claimed that pressure had been placed on top players to not make themselves available.

New Zealand’s men and women won the Commonwealth Games rugby sevens titles in Gold Coast last year. The men qualified for Tokyo Olympics 2020 after finishing third behind Fiji and United States, in the 2018-2019 World Rugby Seven Series.  The All Blacks are currently preparing for their World Cup title defense which begins in Japan next month.

Japan’s hotel sector to shine brightly as stockholders look to cash in on Tokyo Olympic Games

The US-China trade war, volatile equity markets, geopolitical tensions and uncertain pace of future interest rate increases are among factors that will hold back investors from the hotel’s sector this year, according to a JLL report. Olympic hospitality Tickets can be booked online which makes you comfortable to watch the Tokyo Olympic Games.

But in the run-up to two major events soon to be hosted in Tokyo, Japan stands to remain something of a exception. Japan is expected to lead the region this year on the Tokyo 2020 Games.

“Japan’s hotel market has captured investor interest globally,” said Nihat Ercan, head of hotel investment sales in Asia for JLL’s Hotel and Hospitality Group. “Nearly 30 percent of all investment into Asia-Pacific was in Japan, overtaking China in the top spot.”

The property consultant expects global hotel transaction volumes to drop slightly this year to US$67.2 billion from US$67.7 billion in 2018. In 2018, total investment in China stood at US$2.1 billion, down from US$4.5 billion in 2017, while Japan generated US$2.4 billion from investors, down from US$ 3.3 billion in 2017.

JLL noted that investment momentum in Japan is expected to build as investors explore selling their hotel assets to ride the anticipated tourism boom. The Japanese government is targeting 40 million overseas tourists by Olympic Hospitality, the equivalent of around 30 percent of the country’s population.

It also said that Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) will continue to see a drop in transaction volumes for the third year in a row. Ireland’s Natalya Coyle books her place at Olympics 2020 Games

Natalya Coyle is heading to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic after accomplishing her mission at the European Modern Pentathlon Championships in Bath, England.

With eight Olympic 2020 places on offer in the women’s final, the 28-year-old from Meath secured hers with something to spare to give herself a full 12 months to prepare for her third Games.  Olympic Modern Pentathlon followers from all over the world can buy Olympic Modern Pentathlon tickets online.

Coyle finished eighth on the day and fourth among those eligible for Olympic qualification, crossing the line 14 seconds ahead of the top-ranked unsuccessful qualifier in 14th. Ireland’s Sive Brassil also performed with distinction, finishing 16th.

After a solid day, Coyle had started the decisive Laser-Run event in fourth place, only 11 seconds behind the leader and effectively third in the race for Tokyo 2020 Olympic as there were two Belarus athletes ahead of her, only one of whom could qualify.

At the end of a skillful presentation, she over behind fellow qualifiers Kate French, Iryna Prasiantsova and Annika Schley and ahead of Gintare Venckauskaite, Marie Oteiza, Adelina Ibatullina, and Sarolta Kovacs.

“I’m over the moon,” said Coyle. “The day went so well even though I was really nervous about the qualification. I was a little rocky at the start of fencing but pulled it back in the middle. Then the horse riding went really well and I just gave it everything in the Laser-Run. I knew I needed a solid run/shoot to finish it over. I can’t describe how happy I am.”

Given the caliber of the field in the nonappearance of injured Olympic champion Chloe Esposito of Australia, European women have totally conquered the 2019 UIPM season – today’s recital will go down as one of the highlights of Coyle’s career.

The London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympian recorded the 12th-fastest swimming time, 2min 16.99sec for her 200m freestyle, while Brassil ranked seven places higher after a swim of 2:13.66.

Coyle made her move up the leaderboard during the fencing, where she achieved 21 wins from her 35 bouts for a ranking of eighth that elevated her to sixth overall. Brassil’s prospects suffered a blow as she achieved the opposite score of 14 wins and 21 defeats.

When it came to the riding, Brassil escaped some of the major damage others were suffering but a score of 269 wasn’t quite the boost she would have been looking for in terms of the Tokyo Olympic Games qualification.

Coyle knew that even a respectable score would keep her in contention for that coveted Olympic 2020 place. She responded with one of the best rides of the day, dislodging only one obstacle for a score of 291 that briefly gave her the overall lead.

Only one athlete, Adelina Ibatullina of Russia, achieved a perfect score of 300 and there was a major upset when the final rider, Rio 2016 silver medallist Elodie Clouvel of France, suffered elimination, throwing open the race for gold and moving Coyle one place closer to the dream outcome.

Paddy Boyd, Pentathlon Ireland chief executive, said: “We are delighted that one of the automatic qualification slots for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games has been secured at an early opportunity. “We commend Natalya and her support side on this fine achievement, and we would also like to highlight a good performance by a promising young athlete, Sive Brassil.”

Twenty-one of the 36 berths in the women’s pentathlon in Tokyo are still up for grabs and the next opportunity for Brassil and team-mate Eilidh Prise will be the 2019 Pentathlon World Championships in Budapest, where three more places will be at stake. However, Arthur Lanigan-O’Keeffe has announced that his season is overdue to an Achilles injury.

The 27-year-old from Kilkenny finished 25th in the men’s final in Bath on Saturday and revealed on Twitter that he had been unable to train fully for some time due to the Achilles problem.

Tweeted: “I am heartbroken, to say the least, that I didn’t get an automatic Olympic 2020 qualification slot or even come close to replicating my winning performance from 4 years ago. Though, that being said I am still incredibly proud of what I achieved today. Not because I am content with mediocrity but because the real truth is I have been hiding an injury.”

Lanigan-O’Keeffe will still be able to qualify for the Olympics 2020 Games next year with ranking points on offer at a number of competitions in 2020.

“It’s been pretty much a perfect day for me,” he said. “The world is slight upside down with my score sheet today but I’m really, really pleased with it”.

The fencing for me was a bit of highlight – everything came together on the day and I kind of couldn’t lose a hit, it was almost comical at one point.

Cooke, who was very much on home turf as he trains at the University of Bath, beat defending champion Valentin Prades of France, who moved into second with a strong showing in the laser-run, as he also guaranteed himself a spot at next summer’s Olympic 2020 Games.

“Jamie was so strong today and was too far from me but I will get my revenge at the World Championships next month,” Prades said. “The principal objective of today was to get my Olympic 2020 ticket so I am very happy.”

Czech Republic’s Martin Vlach won the bronze medal after surging from 11th place ahead of the final event – booking his country a Tokyo 2020 Games place in the process – nudging Britain’s Joe Choong out of the medals.

Choong, who has already secured his place at Olympic 2020 Games by winning the International Modern Pentathlon Union World Cup final in Japan, was second behind Cooke going into the laser-run but ultimately finished fourth to miss out on a home medal.

“To be honest I’ve not felt 100 percent today so to come away with fourth is amazing,” he said. “At the beginning of the season, I would have been delighted with fourth on my best day so to have a bad day and come fourth is pretty good.”
