The local artistic swimmer club has won the offer as one of the host cities for Canada’s Olympic artistic swimmer team to training and preparation in preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic. “Artistic Swimming is a current addition to Prince George. Having the highest level skill athletes training and performs in our city would deliver unbelievable revelation for our sport in northern B.C. and the nearby societies and, moreover, draw possible athletes to try a sport they did not know occurred. This chance is really untold to our local club and the sport of artistic swimming in Prince George.”
Barager offered the bid to Prince George city council at the 19 August public seminar, explaining they required some money to help with hiring out the Aquatic Centre. Council voted universally to give the Water Lilies the near 1,900$ they required for the charge as she explained the game, earlier known as synchronized swimming.
Barager explained “Many people do not know it just because it does not get sufficient experience that swimming does, that gymnastics does or that hockey does. They think Water Lily contestants are not athletes. By seeing somebody who is at the equal of an Olympian contest, you’re going to see that they are beyond athletes and they make it look easy because they have to make it look easy.”
The effective offer also meaning Prince George’s club was able to protect food and housing needs before the 31 August submission limit.
