The squad of five chefs from Scotland, Ireland, Italy and Germany, has been put composed by Chris Sandford, the founder of the Culinary Ability Awards, which ropes people with disabilities into careers in welcome.
The team’s admission in the four-yearly rivalry’s community category will be the first time a group of incapacitated people has been represented since the Culinary Olympic 2020 was founded in 1900 and will look them arrange 120 helpings of a three-course set menu.

The squad includes Sara Weir of Ireland, Tobias Danner and Lisa Schulz of Germany, Benedetta Priola of Italy, and Michael Auld of Scotland. Sandford said it is also the first time a squad has been arrived spanning four different countries. The theme of the community contest at the Culinary Olympic 2020 roots and Sandford said that each member of the team would be transporting foundations of their own culinary legacy to the team.
They have practiced their bill of fare cookery for a number of events at locations including City Chambers in Glasgow, the River court hotel and the Gleneagles hotel, both in Killarney. The Culinary Ability Awards crew will serve their menu at the awards in Stuttgart on 15 February, with the contest running from 14 to 19 February.
